In September 2008 Tom will host an eight- day Italian cooking master-class at an organic farm near Lucca in Tuscany. The course is a residential hands-on tutorial, designed to allow participants to unlock the delicious secrets from this country famed for its amazing food. This tour for food lovers will showcase Italy’s vibrant cultural heritage in the form of practical cooking workshops and demonstrations, alongside market tours and wine tasting, as well as trips to local producers to immerse everyone in the culinary delights that abound.
Join Tom for an exclusive trip for enthusiastic foodies, where he will share his extensive knowledge of delicious regional Italian food. The trip will be based at the comfortable rural location of the Cassa Rossa Farm with heated swimming pool, located 20 minutes from the medieval walled city of Lucca, and 20 minutes from Pisa in Tuscany. The Cassa Rossa is only 80 km from the magnificent world heritage Cinque Terre coastline and 85 km to Florence. Cost includes Full board and lodging in comfortable rural accommodation at the Cassa Rossa Agri Tourismo near Lucca Tuscany.
Transfers to and from Pisa Airport. All food and wine while at the Cassa Rossa is provided as well as full tuition for a seven day Italian cooking master class by Tom Kime including full file of recipes, two wine tasting trips and market and produce trips.
