In September 2009 Tom hosted a seven- day Italian cooking master-class at an organic farm near Lucca in Tuscany.

The course was a residential hands-on tutorial, designed to allow participants to unlock the delicious secrets from this country famed for its amazing food. This tour for food lovers showcased Italy’s vibrant cultural heritage in the form of practical cooking workshops and demonstrations, alongside market tours and wine tasting. There were also trips to local producers to immerse everyone in the culinary delights that abound.

Enthusiastic foodies joined Tom for an exclusive trip. He shared his extensive knowledge of delicious regional Italian food. The trip and future food safaris are based at the comfortable rural location of the Cassa Rossa Farm with heated swimming pool, located 20 minutes from the medieval walled city of Lucca, and 20 minutes from Pisa in Tuscany.
